About Broomfield
The City and County of Broomfield is located in the state of Colorado. It is a prominent suburb of Denver. Broomfield is a 20 minute drive from both Denver and Boulder, and close to the Denver International Airport
In 1961, Broomfield was incorporated in the southeastern corner of Boulder County. It was named for the broomcorn grown in the area. In 2001, Broomfield County became the smallest county in Colorado.
