COTTAGE GROVE, Minn.
– Renewal by Andersen® is happy to announce
that it is the only

of Essex, Bergen, Middlesex, Hudson, Monmouth, Morris,
and Ocean – that continue a long history of energy
efficient and environmentally friendly products. Being
recognized by these organizations – which educate
consumers about which products are environmentally friendly
– only serves to confirm a strong commitment to
the environment at Renewal by Andersen®.
Green Seal Certification
Green Seal, a national non-profit organization, has
certified replacement windows from Renewal by Andersen®
as the only replacement
windows in New Jersey and the United States that
meet its strict standards for environmentally-responsible
products. Replacement
windows from Renewal by Andersen® meet Green
Seal standards in the following areas:
•
No heavy metals in the window frame or sash materials
• Overall energy efficiency
• Consumer education materials showing proper
use and installation
• Clearly labeled performance data
• At least 25% post-consumer recycled material
used in packaging
“To earn certification, we demonstrated that our
products meet energy efficiency requirements and are
manufactured and packaged in an environmentally conscious
manner,” said Renewal by Andersen® president
Craig Evanich.
According to Green Seal estimates,
if all windows in the United States were as energy efficient
as those offered by Renewal by Andersen®, Americans
would save up to 2.5 percent of the annual U.S. energy
consumption – roughly 200 gallons of oil for every
household in the U.S.
ENERGY STAR®

Renewal by Andersen® replacement
windows have also been certified by ENERGY STAR®.
