Renewal by Andersen®
Offers High-Performance™ Low-E4™ Glass in
Colorado
Next Generation of Glass Technology is Energy Efficient,
Easy to Clean
COTTAGE GROVE, Minn.
– Renewal by Andersen® is proud to unveil
its new High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass, , the latest in energy efficient,
eco-friendly, low-maintenance glass, in the greater
Denver and Colorado Springs areas – including
Arvada, Aurora, and Broomfield, Colorado (CO). High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass is now a standard feature on all
Renewal by Andersen® windows and Frenchwood®
Patio Doors. As a technology recently introduced
by Andersen Windows, Inc., High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass is exclusive to Andersen windows
and doors, including commercial
and residential replacement windows and doors manufactured
by Renewal by Andersen®.
Low-E4™ glass by Renewal by Andersen® features
an exterior coating that is activated by sunlight, and
makes cleaning easier, reducing water spots and dirt
buildup up to 99 percent.* It also continues Andersen’s
tradition of energy efficiency and eco-friendly production,
which has earned Andersen ENERGY
STAR® qualification and Green
Seal certification.
Low-E4™ glass is an energy-saving
wonder because it can help reduce heating and cooling
bills by as much as 25 percent**, depending on where
customers live. Low-E4™ glass is, on average,
45 percent more energy efficient in winter and 56 percent
more energy efficient in summer than standard dual pane
glass*** – something that would be welcome to
greater Denver area and Colorado residents who experience
cold winters and warm summers.
Low-E4™ glass uses transparent metallic
Low-E coatings, which are applied to the glass surface
between the panes, deflecting radiant heat but letting
in visible light. The glass coatings can cut down on
glare and reduce ultra-violet light, protecting interior
furnishings and fabrics from fading.
“For over a century, Andersen has
continually improved the performance of windows and
doors. Renewal by Andersen® is pleased to be able
to feature this latest breakthrough in glass technology,”
said Craig Evanich, president of Renewal by Andersen®.
“Combined with Andersen’s patented low-maintenance
Fibrex® material and our exclusive start-to-finish
process, Renewal by Andersen® offers a combination
of products and experience that uniquely positions us
to meet the window
replacement needs of our customers.”
