– Renewal by Andersen® is proud to announce
that new High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass is now offered as a standard
feature on all replacement
windows and Frenchwood®
Patio Doors from Renewal by Andersen® in the
United States, and especially in New Jersey, including
the city of Clifton and the counties of Essex, Bergen,
Middlesex, Hudson, Monmouth, Morris, and Ocean. High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass is exclusive to replacement windows
and doors offered by Renewal by Andersen®.
High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass features an innovative coating
on the exterior that is activated by sunlight, making
cleaning easier and reducing the build-up of dirt and
water spots up to 99%.
Low-E4™ glass also
boasts proven energy saving technology to reduce cooling
and heating bills. High-Performance™
Low-E4™ glass is, on average, 56 percent more
energy efficient in summer and 25 percent in winter
than standard dual-pane glass. With the varied climate
of New Jersey and the Mid-Atlantic region, that can
cut energy bills by as much as 25 percent*.
Low-E4™ glass features
transparent metallic Low-E coatings applied to one of
the surfaces within the airspace between the panes,
helping to deflect radiant heat while allowing natural
light to shine through. The glass coatings also help
reduce glare and cut ultraviolet light by 83 percent,
reducing the effects of fading for interior fabrics
and furnishings.
