Renewal by Andersen® specialty replacement windows are designed to be features of your Colorado home and not functional pieces. Although they are not operable, custom specialty windows provide a new look that adds character and increases the value of your home. Due to their lack of function, there are no applicable hardware choices specific to residential specialty windows. However, when combined with any assortment of Renewal by Andersen® windows, such as double-hung windows, awning windows, and gliding and sliding windows, there is a wide variety of hardware choices to choose from.
While you may not be able to pick out a locking mechanism or pull lift for your specialty windows, you do have a sill frame option that suits your tastes. Fibrex® framing materials – a superior material to wood and vinyl windows – is available with all specialty windows and a choice of traditional or picture frame sill configurations. The picture frame style is optional for all Renewal by Andersen® window shapes. A traditional style is not available for the chord, circle, triangle, right triangle, pentagon, hexagon, or octagon window shapes. In general, traditional specialty window styles are only available when both ends of the sill consist of 90-degree corners.
If the lack of hardware choices influences your decision about custom specialty windows, then consider Renewal by Andersen® double-hung replacement windows for your Colorado Springs, Breckenridge, Lonetree, or Morrison, Colorado (CO) home. At Renewal by Andersen® (often misspelled as Anderson) Colorado, we take pride in replacing your old wood and vinyl windows with the best value and quality replacement windows in the entire Colorado region. |
