Vinyl and wood replacement specialty windows
from Renewal by Andersen® are designed to be featured,
rather than functional, elements in your New England
home. While they are not operable, they provide a custom
look that adds character and increases the resale value.
Specialty windows, alone, do not have applicable hardware
choices, however, when these window replacements are
used in combination with other operable windows, such
as double-hung windows, casement
windows, gliding and sliding windows,
you have a spectrum of hardware choices at your fingertips.
While you may not be able to pick out a pull or hand
lift for your residential specialty windows, you do
have the option of selecting the sill frame that is
best suited to your liking. Fibrex® material brick
mould is available with all full-frame specialty windows
in two sill configurations: traditional or picture frame.
The picture style is optional for all Renewal by Andersen®
window shapes, however, the traditional style is not
available with chord, circle, triangle, right triangle,
pentagon, hexagon, or octagon window shapes. Generally,
the traditional style is only available when both ends
of the sill consist of 90° corners.
If specialty replacement windows do not offer you enough
hardware choices, consider buying double-hung
window replacements for your New England home in
Groton, Peabody, Westborough, or Boston, Massachusetts
(MA) or Hudson, Dover, Manchester, or Goffstown, New
Hampshire (NH). At Renewal by Andersen® Boston,
we take pride in providing all of our customers with
the best value vinyl and wood replacement windows in
the entire Boston, MA area or Southern NH region.
